What Makes a Good Budtender?

A good budtender does more than point toward a shelf. They listen, explain the choices clearly, and help you understand what you are buying.
Cannabis customers arrive with different levels of experience, so good service starts with meeting people where they are.
Knowledge Without the Pressure
A budtender should understand the differences between flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, drinks, and concentrates. They should also be able to explain potency, serving size, onset time, and product labels in plain language.
That knowledge should never turn into pressure. The highest THC percentage is not automatically the right choice, and a good budtender will not treat it that way.
Listening Comes First
Useful recommendations begin with questions. What formats have you tried? Are you familiar with cannabis labels? Do you prefer an inhaled product or something you can eat or drink?
At Haven Center, our team helps customers compare current products and make informed choices. You can meet the Haven team or browse our Brewster cannabis menu before visiting.
A good budtender helps you feel more confident, not more confused.
