Haven's Thanksgiving Food Drive: Giving Back to Our Cape Cod Community

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, generosity, and coming together as a community. This holiday season, Haven is embracing the spirit of giving by hosting a Thanksgiving Canned Food & Essentials Drive at our Brewster location.
From November 7 through November 26, 2026, we're inviting our Cape Cod neighbors, friends, and visitors to help support individuals and families in need.
Through this community initiative, we're collecting canned foods, non-perishable pantry items, and everyday essentials to benefit the Harwich Food Pantry and New Bedford Salvation Army.
Because sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.
Giving Thanks by Giving Back
The holiday season is often filled with family gatherings, shared meals, and meaningful traditions. However, for many families, this time of year can also bring additional financial pressures. Access to everyday necessities, including groceries and personal care items, can make a meaningful difference for households facing difficult circumstances.
At Haven, we believe that being part of a community means showing up for one another. Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is an opportunity to turn gratitude into action and help make the holiday season a little brighter for our neighbors. Whether you contribute a single canned item or several bags of essentials, every donation is appreciated.

Supporting the Harwich Food Pantry and New Bedford Salvation Army
This year's Thanksgiving Food Drive will benefit two organizations dedicated to helping people in their communities.
Harwich Food Pantry
The Harwich Food Pantry helps address food insecurity in the local Cape Cod community by providing food assistance to individuals and families experiencing hardship.
Supporting local food assistance programs is one way we can help our neighbors during the holiday season and beyond.
New Bedford Salvation Army
The Salvation Army serves communities through charitable programs and assistance initiatives.
By supporting the New Bedford Salvation Army, Haven's Thanksgiving Food Drive aims to extend the spirit of generosity beyond Cape Cod and reach more individuals and families in need.
Together, these organizations represent the importance of community care, compassion, and collective support.

Building a Stronger Cape Cod Community Together
Cape Cod is more than beautiful beaches, historic towns, and coastal scenery. It's a community built on relationships, generosity, and people looking out for one another. From Brewster to Provincetown and throughout the surrounding towns, we are grateful to be part of a region where community connections matter. At Haven, giving back is one of the ways we celebrate those connections.
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive reflects a simple belief: when people come together with kindness and a shared purpose, even small contributions can create meaningful change. We hope this initiative inspires more conversations about generosity, community involvement, and the importance of supporting local organizations throughout the year.
