Brewster’s Windmill, also known as, Old Higgin’s Farm Windmill, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 10, 1975. he Old Higgins Windmill is owned by the Brewster Historical Society. Cape Cod is famous, worldwide, as a coastal vacation destination with some of New England's premier beach destinations

Summer in Brewster is something to behold. The days are longer, Route 6A comes alive, and there is always another reason to get outside and enjoy the Cape.

We love the mix of familiar faces and summer visitors, the warm evenings, and the sense that everyone has slowed down a little.

Local Places and Familiar Faces

Brewster is full of independent businesses, local restaurants, beaches, walking trails, and small places that give the town its character.

Summer brings more people through the door at Haven Center, from year-round residents to visitors discovering the area for the first time. We enjoy hearing where people are staying, what brought them to the Cape, and what they have planned for the week.

A Season Worth Enjoying

Summer does not need a complicated schedule. Sometimes it is enough to take the scenic route, stop somewhere local, and leave room for the day to unfold.
